What would you make for your meals?

Flour, yeat.
Beans, lentils, rice.
Carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes.
Peppers, tomatoes, lettuce.
Bananas, oranges, apples.
Cheap cuts of chicken and pork.
Spices, bouillon cubes.

Make bread. Make soups. Roast anything you want, do stirfries, baked potatoes, sauteed vegetables, mix in rice, etc... whatever the fuck you want.

200$ is pretty manageable.

This is what it cost me every month for groceries and I eat a lot.
I can't believe people whine that's it not enough.

>> No.11798827

I spend less than half that and I married. Stop buying processed frozen trash.

trade it for $150, buy a hi-point and eat a 9mm sandwich.

I call it "The Great Hibernation"
>once per week, eat $50 worth of Fancy Feast
>it's the most calories per dollar you can buy with food stamps
>sleep until the next feast to conserve your energy
>rinse and repeat for the rest of your life

>> No.11799398

Trade it for some crack and complain later that you can't feed your baby mommas kids.

The same as I eat now, bread, eggs, beans, vegetables, chicken, canned fish, soups, cheap cheese, sandwiches, stir fries and so on. Tap water to drink with lemon juice if taste is needed, or carbonated water and juice. I'm English and $50 is equal to £45 which is easy. Food is much cheaper in the states.

Start off your grocery trip by sticking to the outside of the grocery store (produce, deli, dairy, bakery) and then venture into the middle so you get the essentials. Get beans, rice, and other easy to buy in bulk items.
