I'm poor and going to be living in my car for a while. My go to poor meal is lentils but since I won't have a way to cook what's the cheapest no prep/refrigeration foods I can stock up on?

Canned beans, fruit, and meat. Anything canned really. Theres always something on sale whether its soup, tuna, or veggies/fruit. Beans too I guess. Pop the top and go crazy. You can also dumpster dive for "expired" dry goods like granola bars and whatnot.

Pound for pound spam and most other canned stuff is like buying steak.

You can eat ramen noodles raw. It's actually not bad. That could make for a good staple item.

NOTHING about this is "not bad", anon.

Canned tuna, the lowest shittiest kind. 0.79 each
Canned salsas and chips. salsa can be around 0.80, and chips 2.50 for a bag.
If you are in a cold environment you can do produce like oranges and bell peppers which are cheap sometimes.

Do you not understand the nutritional difference between a block of instant noodles and a block of meat?

If you want to go the healthy route, bulk carrots, bulk apples and bulk peanuts.

I usually eat the little broken off bits that are in the bag when I'm making ramen. I like bland crunchy foods. Not sure if I'd eat a whole block of uncooked noodles though.

The first thing you said is smart, but after that it just gets all stupid.

You can always just leave ramen in a container of water and it will soak it all up, you don't need a microwave or stove. Pound for pound you want something calorie dense, with variety, so high-fat meats and most starches would do nicely. And so you don't get malnourished and all fucked up you NEED to invest in a multivitamin.
Make sure you always buy your food from those rundown, broke-fag, poorfuck grocery stores and make sure you're buying generic brand, not name brand.
Get some oil as well, cheap, and a large amount. You'll need the energy from time to time. And if you can invest in a few of your favorite spices you'll not kill yourself or resort to petty theft.
In all honesty though this would be a perfect question for you to ask to >>>/k/, >>>/fit/, and >>>/out/.

Why doe sit have to be non-perishable? You could really just go to the nearest grocery store and buy a couple potatoes and eat them raw if you want.

Rice. You can leave some in water all day and then eat it.

This saw a dude outside of Walmart at 3am some years ago making sandwich of some kind and eating keilbasa. He was happy as clam even offered me some.
