The 'natural' things for humans is to not be able to digest lactose after being weaned. Lactose permanence in humans is only a Euro, Middle East, and West African thing.

Humans all have a gene that encodes for lactase, because it's necessary for us as babies to process milk. All humans also have a time limit on how long they produce lactase, the age at which your lactase production shuts down is different for all individuals, and for descendants of cultures that used milk as a staple food adapted to hold on to that lactase production for longer than just as babies, sometimes for their entire lives.

One thing to remember is that there's a range of lactose intolerance. Asian here,any amount of cheese and milk derivatives are fine, as is cereal in a bowl of milk, or a flat white. I wouldn't want to drink more than a glass of milk at one sitting, though. I also have friends with much lower tolerances.

Long story short. North american cows are grown on feddlots often fed corn as it's cheaper but isnt intended for them to eat. Which inturn adds lectins (irritant chemicals) to the milk. European cows often are fed grass so their milk is ok because the lectins are processed out through the cow's digestive system.

I have eczema so I cant drink cow's milk from North America.

As long as you consume european meat and dairy you should be fine.

I'm in the US with psoriasis and milk is fine for me. Sugar seems to make it worse, even if it's from fruit or carrots if I eat too many of them. Everyone needs to tailor their own diet for themselves. Would be nice if extensive genetic testing got cheaper and could tell you what to avoid. Or if we could just "cure" all food issues.
