I love sfiha and their rice with lamb. Their deserts are good too, my favorite is that nest with nuts inside and orange blossom.

i grew up in a heavy muslim neighborhood in new york
got turned onto lamb shwarma at a young age and its still one of my favorite foods to date, its a shame i cant get it where i currently live.
there was also this lebanese deli that made these various meat pies that were only $2.50 a pop and incredible.

My mom is probably the only fucking person in existence of my family and area that makes a good Masareen, which is basically sheep intestine stuffed with rice and beef.


I only ever tried 1 other part of my families masareen and it takes like absolute horse shit.

My mom rarely ever makes it, only in special occasions and why is because to make an actual good one, you have to put in the extreme effort of cleaning it properly, inside and out and stuffing it the right way etc.

i personally wouldnt even trust restaurants if they ever serve which i havent found because i doubt they would serve that shit really fast.
