I'm at my wit's end.
Iv'e gone through 6 fucking can openers in about 4 years.
Clean and dry them after every usage, doesn't matter.
Why is it like this?
Why is it so fucking hard to find one made of quality materials and a design that will last?

NOBODY makes quality can openers anymore. My parents/friends/enemies all go through that many openers. Every once in awhile they find one that for whatever reason doesn't break within 3 months.
For me:
I just bought some P-38 openers. Simple. Cheap. Easily replacable.
And guess what. I've never replaced one because they stopped working, only because I loose it somewhere.

THIS BEAST.

This motherfucker does the work for you, and keeps doing it. This very can opener has lasted my family 30 years, and still opens cans JUST as good as it did when we got it. The blade was NEVER CHANGED. The magnetic top holds the cut lid of the can up so you can do your business then throw it out without getting can juice on your counter. I grew up with this can opener. It serviced a 6 person household.

I'm sure it would continue to work, and well. Just because it looks cheap and is automatic doesn't mean a product won't hold up. This can opener is a testament to this fact. My dad recently moved and threw it away because his girlfriend thought it was too ugly to bring. I'm sure it would have worked for many years to come.
