I really like toasted sesame oil and rice vinegar. Worst is anything overapplied, which seems to be half of all salads. Ranch is usually pretty gross, but I'm sure good ranch dressing exists.

but, yea
on some rare occasions i might give it a squeeze of lemon and possibly even a dash of olive oil, but really hardly ever

it's moist enough. unless it's trippple washed, i rinse it so it stays somewhat wet.
then i add some shredded carrot, maybe some sprouts or other greens like a little bit of kale or spinach, may7be some blanched/chilled peas or corn, sometimes some kidney beans or garbonzos, maybe a few nuts and possibly some sesame seeds and definitely an avocado if i have one around
sorry anon

>Not liking ranch dressing
How the fuck is this even possible? Is this just contrarian bullshit or do you anons genuinely have a bad reaction to the taste? The only potentially negative factor I can think of for ranch is how it's ridiculously popular and some people don't like popularity because they associate it with lowbrow / pleb taste. Not only is it the most popular dressing but it even gets used way more often than blue cheese dressing for buffalo chicken dip, which is crazy since that's the fundamental purpose of blue cheese dressing's existence. It's such a non-offensive and pleasant flavor. It's like a rich, sweet milk, sour cream, and egg jamboree in your mouth, and I don't think I've ever encountered an upper limit for saying "oops, I added too much." It's a strong contender for the flavor you'd present to aliens as the most extreme apex of food based pleasure available with modern human technology and Earth resources.

Why would you want to buy a bunch of separate ingredients and mix them together yourself instead of just buying an already complete dressing bottle like a normal person? Also:

Holy shit what a cuck

I'll give y'all my recipe for Dijon Vinaigrette, it keeps well in the fridge and takes a minute to make.
>1/2 cup of Olive Oil
>4 tablespoons of Champagne Vinegar
>2 tablespoons of seeded dijon mustard (I used grey poupon country style)
>1 squeeze of lemon wedge
>1teaspoon of fresh ground pepper
>1teaspoon of salt
>1/2 teaspoon of paprika
Mix it all up, store it in the fridge.

If you want to get fancy you can add minced shallots and dried oregano. But this greatly reduces the shelf-life of the dressing.
