I used to put grape or strawberry preserves into hamburgers as a kid because of that. The sweetness and fruitiness of the jelly overpowered the taste of the burger but I didn't hate eating it for some reason.

Not that it actually needs to be said, but all studio ghibli food ever.

As a kid my older sister and I watched pretty much all of the disney movies ever made at that point. One of the movies (embarrassingly enough) was the little mermaid 2 (some orca story can't remember exactly). In the movie the merfolk were having some big party and eating some sort of seaweed that looked like realllly good pasta. It looked sooo good.

Fruit salad with strawberries, raspberries, honeydew, cantaloupe, and marshmallows.

Main dish looks like mashed potatoes with sauteed mushrooms, bakes beans, cheese sauce, and a dinner roll cut in half.
