I also went through a good decade plus where I had fast food maybe once a year out of necessity since I was a kid in the 90's. Turns out if you actually try it nowadays Taco Bell is pretty much the only thing palatable that doesn't charge restaurant prices. Obviously it's only good drunk, but even then everything else just pales in comparison.
