Why do you burgers eat roast ham for Christmas instead of turkey? What's wrong with all of you?

To exclude the Jewish people from the celebration because we remember they murdered Jesus (and wouldn’t accept Joseph’s out of state Roman Baths Discount Card, making them sleep in a stable and all).

I'm pretty sure people only eat ham because it's much less effort than the other standard options, and they're still burnt out from Thanksgiving. I'll be doing prime rib tomorrow night.

Two reasons:
A. This is only a month after a national holiday where we eat turkey, give us a break
B. If not cooked right, turkey can be dry as fuck. It's easier to cook ham in a satisfactory way than it is to cook turkey in a similarly satisfactory way. Then again, I'm a massive hamhead so I guess I'm biased in the matter.

my family usually does both at thanksgiving and christmas. i save the ham bone and i make a big pot of pinto beans. the ham bone with uneaten ham gives the beans so much flavor. i'll eat the beans for 2 or 3 days, then freeze the leftovers. i'll eat the leftovers in feb or march. they're sooooo tasty.

Turkeys are native to America, fuckwit. You wouldn't have turkey if not for us. Dwell on that one for a while.

We normally have Standing rib roast and a turkey breast.

This year we had a tenderloin roast (chateaubriand), and a ham.
