This, I think it actually tastes a little sweet when it's fully cooked. Crisp-tender is worthless, either just serve it raw or fully cooked, halfway through has the benefits of neither.

Cauliflower has a dull taste. So how to describe broccoli? It's like a concentrated dull, sth like dull squared, almost .. stupid. Browning the hell out of it is the only way to make it kinda like edible. Fuck broccoli.

Vegetables have no place in modern food. Sure they were once the only thing we could get when we foraged for stuff, but now we have meat and cheese and bread and potatoes and mayo and sauce so they're pretty much obsolete. They taste like nothing and are pretty much indigestible (all fiber) so they don't give you any of the energy you need.
If you want to pretend that celery is food by covering it with peanut butter and raisins, you go ahead, but I'm going to substitute that celery for crackers.
>but anon, eggplant tastes like meat and it's delicious
No, that stuff is literally cooked vomit.
>but what about tofu?
Literally proven that the soy turns into estrogen, making you more woman

It's 2018, we have massive factories dedicated to producing quality food and people still eat stuff that comes out of the ground and has to be washed to get all the cow poop off. Disgusting.

>STANFORD, Calif. Hate broccoli? Take heart. Researchers have discovered a single gene that helps explain why some people love their leafy greens while others simply can't bear the bitter taste.
