Is it worth trying Grouse again if I'm already a regular scotch drinker?
It was my first whiskey and I had no taste for it at the time, and I've been meaning to go back to it since I've tried something like 30 whiskies since then, but I don't want to blow $30 on a bottle if I'll just think it's garbage.

It's just regional spelling. Some places have laws about whether or not you use the e. It doesn't really matter, since it'll have where it came from printed on the label anyway.

I started with Jim Beam Red Stag, and jumped into Grouse from there. Then Glenfiddich 12.

I used to steal this shit from work because no one ever drank it and the stockpile was huge.

It worked fine for getting drunk I guess.

I've tried Famous Grouse standard/mellow gold/smokey black. I've tried Grants standard/ale cask/sherry cask. I've had standard Whyte & Mackay, Black Bottle, Ballantines, Bells, JWred/JWblack etc.

All big brand supermarket available NAS blends are much of a muchness tbqh with varying degrees of sweetness & orangeness.
I have drunk them & can drink them, but would rather have a single malt.
