what is your favourite dipping sauce for fries?
for me, its Remoulade

3 tablespoons good mayo or home-cooked
1 tablespoon cream min. 18%
1 tablespoon finely chopped capers
1 tablespoon of finely chopped carrots
1 tablespoon finely chopped red cabbage
1 tablespoon finely chopped cornichoner
1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
1 tablespoon finely chopped estragon or quiver (can be omitted)
1 teaspoon finely chopped onions
1 tablespoon lemon
1 teaspoon coarse mustard
Salt / pepper / sugar
Turmeric to adjust the color

Chop the whole pig, eg on an Alligator if you own such a, otherwise be careful and chop it nicely and nicely. Otherwise, mix the whole moeven together and season with salt, pepper and a little sugar. If you want the yellow color, just adjust with turmeric.
Let it pull approx. 30 min in the fridge and you're done!

Tbqh, seems like an absurd amount of work for a fried potato dipping sauce. Are you someone who spouts, "let them eat cake?"

>> No.11635762

The one I'm using literally right this moment, coincidentally for air fried potato slices. It's so fucking good. Posted the recipe before but guess I'll post it again.

Shitload of mayonnaise
add finely chopped onion
some ketchup
garlic powder
onion powder
seasoned salt
MSG (optional)
~1 tsp of dried Hondashi
3-5 twists of black pepper (medium)
~1 tsp of scotch bonnet pepper sauce
couple squirts of worcestershire
VERY small amount of mesquite liquid smoke
little Walkerswood jerk-flavored BBQ sauce
few squirts of ranch dressing
about 1.5 tsp of white wine vinegar

and wala.

>> No.11636048

I make my own fry sauce, it's decent stuff.

>1/2 cup homemade mayonnaise
>1/4 cup ketchup (use Hunts' if you can find it)
>3 tablespoons dill relish
>1/4 cup deli horseradish sauce
>1/2 tablespoon onion juice
>1 teaspoon garlic powder
>1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
>1 teaspoon of any red-colored hot sauce
>mix well
>dip fries/chips in it

I've found it works better with thicker cut fries, and they HAVE to be properly salted.

Remoulade is sold as a condiment same as mayo, ketchup, and mustard in Denmark, where OP is from.
I never see Americans talk about the stuff actually. Is it the same as what they call tartar sauce?
It's very commonly eating in DK with chips, on hotdogs, or with fried fish.
Very few people bother making their own.

Fires are such a simple dish but they are so easy to fuck up.

I'm from Germany and we have local festivals here, last month I was at one at there was a foodtruck from Belgium. I ate the best fucking fries of my life. They were cross, their colour amazing and the sauces they offered, god damn it. They had a garlic-cheese sauce, man that thing tasted amazing. I even went so far to ask them if they will attend this event next year again. They said yes, and I know what I'm going to do the next fucking novembre.
