Anybody else here make kombucha at home?

My recent batch came out very cloudy, internet says the yeast ratio is out of whack. Still tastes okay!

don't use the dregs of the first fermentation to start the next, the bottom of the jar will have the most yeasts, so you can adjust your yeast/bacteria ratios by making sure the next batch is started with liquid from the top of the jar.

I make kombucha and it’s really easy. There’s a lot of room to experiment too. Adding juice in bottles like some posters mentioned above is alright, but you should try getting a second jar and infusing flavor from fresh ingredients instead. I just did one with cranberries (crush them) and ginger for the holidays.

I made some kombucha with peony for the first time and it was great, much more refreshing than the black tea variants. Unfortunately, I have the cranberries still stuck in the bottle I used and I haven't figured out how I'm gonna get them out.

Don’t put fruit in the bottle. Infuse for 2-3 days then strain it out before bottling.
