I wash my hands after going to the store, god only knows what kind of degenerate scum have handled the cart/food/payment keypad before you. I also sometimes wash my hands before I go to the bathroom depending on what I've been doing, also wash them after obviously.

I'm not really a germophobe but I work in food manufacturing so obsessive cleaning practices are just engrained into me now

Bleach is really safe to use as a disinfectant actually provided you dilute it enough. We're talking like a cap full per gallon. Retains all its punch without causing any negative side effects. That's why its used in pools and food prep and manufacturing so much.
