All of them. It's also important to know certain protein similarities and cross allergens.

All allergies can be cured with repeated exposure to the thing giving you an allergic reaction. Anyone with allergies is a faggot, and I'm not even baiting for (you)s when I say this. A weak coward pussy that has to live in fear of things that every other human being on the planet eats gleefully. How bout you grow the fuck up and get over it stupid

Allergy shots only work for environmental allergies, they're not useful for food allergies.

I know someone with actual food allergies that cause anaphylaxis that starts within seconds. It's pretty infuriating how many people pretend to be allergic to foods they don't like or got memed into avoiding because of internet fads.

Do you live under a rock or are you just fucking stupid? I used to be allergic to fresh tomato but I was fine with cooked and processed tomato products.

There's an important distinction to be made between allergies and intolerances. As I understand it, many people are lactose or gluten intolerant. Eating these things will cause then varying levels of discomfort. Over time continued exposure can cause more serious damage. People with allergies will tend to react more immediately and severely.
Specifically relating to gluten sensitivity:
Celiac is an autoimmune inflammatory disorder. This is similar to an allergy in the sense that it is your immune system reacting to something it shouldn't, however, in an allergy your immune system attacks the allergen, while celiac the gluten acts as a trigger for your immune system to attack your body, especially your gastrointestinal track.

all of them, allergies aren't a joke
of course, some people treat them like a joke and ruin it for the normal folks. those people should have been scrapped by quality control. but you can't reliably tell with perfect accuracy who those people are, so you just have to treat every allergy with care

I have a few allergies. Worst are sunflower seeds and peanuts which doesn't kill me just makes my entire mouth and throat itch and turns my stomach on fire.
I'm have other food allergies that are not as bad.

I'm curious as to where the posters that belittle allergies are from?

I guess it's hard to imagine things that you have no experience of, but when it's something that's possibly lethal to someone, it shouldn't be toyed with.

i work in a restaurant, and everyday between 15 to 25% of the guests give up allergies. at the moment it is a hype under women to have an allergy (the male customers almost never have an allergy)

it's annoying because we take allergies seriously. but it costs a lot of time to create a lactose and glutenfree dessert without refined sugar a la minute.

so basically other guests have to wait longer because some asshole wants to be treated as an unique snowflake

>> No.11633603

>>11633552
Lactose intolerance is not an allergy, they can shut up and deal with it. There's even an enzyme supplement they can take before their meal that digests the lactose. Gluten free is the stupidest fad diet ever, 99% of the people who insist on eating gluten free don't have celiac disease and have no reason to avoid gluten.

All those people do is fuck it up even more for the very few people that actually have real allergies.
