I want to start cooking Asian food because every time I go out to get a treat it's usually Asian food. What should my grocery list look like?

You need to specify, dum dum. Are you talking sushi? Mall food court Chinese? Thai? Korean BBQ? Pho? Those are just some of the most popular and ubiquitous Asian cuisines that people who say shit like "Asian food" and expect people to know what they're talking about are familiar with.

For what kind of food?! Whatever answer you give there are probably a dozen anons who can give you better advice than me. If you're going to be obtuse I'll ask this: what kind of Asian grocery stores are available to you? Most will have some Chinese and Japanese and generic SE Asian shit, but you should start cooking with the ingredients available to you if you aren't actually in Asia.
