Lasagne objectively a bad dish and a poor combination of its ingredients ( wheat flour/pasta, tomatoes, cheese and meat).

>It is a pain in the ass to make properly, with all the layers.

>It takes a lot longer to prepare, and bake, than even a really deep dish pizza.

>It's a pain in the ass to serve, you have to slice/cut it, but there's no convenient crust. You ideally serve it like a pie or layer cake, which is also a pain in the ass.

>It's a goddamn mess, and needs a plate and fork. Pasta can work in a bowl, pizza can work without anything.

>You get the same baked (Maillard reaction) effect from baking macaroni or other pasta, in less than half the time.

>It's difficult to do prepare and bake well, leading to a lot of poorly executed lasagna.

>If you don't care about time or complexity, the final presentation is a mess, the ricotta and sauce is squeezing everywhere and the pasta is a slip and slide. It's missing a backbone. A crust, if you will.

I am aware there are some crazy motherfuckers who probably like lasagna even more than pizza, thin or Chicago style.

These may be valid arguments but it's still good. I think that we should focus on how to improve it.
Your primary complaint seems to be lack of cohesion due to the rectangular shape and lack of a crust. Why don't we just start making lasagne in round pie pans and give them a thicker pasta crust on the bottom layer? Suddenly they are much easier to cut and serve, and they stay together better. Making lasagne in a pie pan would aslo solve your issue of them being too thick and taking too long to cook.

Says who...some faggot on an anime image board? It tastes good and that's all that matters
The rest of your reasons simply boil down to you bitching about how you are to lazy and stupid to cook a decent lasagna. I dont have that problem since I enjoy the act of cooking.
