Moving away from the faggotry that is your mind, you can do a lot with canned tuna (and other foods) besides making a mayo sandwich or a mayo "salad".
Mix it with some rice or potatoes and veggies, add it as a compliment to some pasta, make a casserole, spice it up and make a nice sauce to go with crackers for a snack.
The fact that you can't imagine doing anything with it because "dude it's in a can!" speaks worlds to your "skills" in the kitchen.

Tab cans are a weaker construction, and the scored lid that allows the tab top to open can break open if too much pressure is aplied in storage, or if the can is dropped, which can make a giant mess.
Also, the tab lids tend to spring at towards the end of the lid popping action, spraying fish juice all over, and canned fish juice is smelly.
The thin metal cans made out of aluminum used for packing certain tupes of fish also don’t work well with some can openers if you prefer not to use the pop top.
My preference for a can opener is the Zyliss/Kuhn Rikon/Swiss style safety type which scors the lid lip, since this allows you to put the lid back on for storage if only eating part of a can.

Can someone direct me to a good, asthetically pleasing can opener? I've had pic related for a while and I hate it. I want something with a better grip, and a much better look, the fuck is this thing even supposed to be? Its like a three legged UFO

This trope needs to go.

The problem isn't this generation, it's businesses refusing to adapt.

Speaking of Subway, my usual sandwich is about $20. I get every meat and every cheese, usually do a few different sauces, and that's it. None of those fuckin' veggies that have been sitting out for twenty weeks.

It's delicious, and worth every penny. Not even joking around,

My savage viet ex would brace the can between her bare feet and stab a big kitchen knife along the rim while spinning it with her feet. It scared the shit out of me.
I tried getting her a couple of can openers but she threw them both away.

I'm actually horribly underweight. I get Subway maybe two or three times a year, it's a treat. Outside of that I mostly live off eggs, those Jamaican patties, and Pizza pops, usually one a day.

Either the people here really got scammed with some shit that breaks easier than legos or, my bet, they are just massive retards that would manage to break any tool more complicated than a fucking hammer.

Who the fuck actually plans on going through the apocalypse with fully functioning plumbing? Do they know that people have built entire houses themselves from scratch? Who is actually expecting to have fully functioning electricity?

Damn, these people are morons. Without a modern OR, imaging technology, and a laboratory, doctors are going to be mostly useless beyond basic trauma repair but even then a dentist is going to have more practice with suturing than your average PCP just because of the nature of the work.

A battlefield medic would actually be much more useful and have more practical skills.

Go to walmart and buy the manual one with the big black semi circle for turning it
if you buy the ones with small rectangular shapes, they will break on the 2nd or 3rd can

theres like a 10-12$ version of this one
the price is worth only buying 1 can opener
