I have literally every device for making coffee, from a hand powered burr grinder with pour over accessories to instant coffee and legit there is virtually no quality difference between K-cups and instant.

I just fill coffee up to the first number marker (inverted), fill halfway with water just off the boil, stir, wait 30s, stir, wait 10s, fill the rest of the way with water (again, fresh off the boil), wait 30s, stir one final time, cap, and press.

I don't have a scale or anything and haven't messed with my grinder's settings since I dialed it in for this brew setup. I'm not a very scientific brewer desu although my results are pretty consistent considering I just eye it.
