A nice steak and a baked potato is probably my favorite meal hands down. Sometimes on a friday night or something if I have nothing going on I will cook myself a nice steak and a baked potato and maybe some green beans and sit back and watch a movie or whatever and it's always really nice.

No problem it was delicious. Next Friday you want a steak try buying a cotes du rhone or burgandy and a bit of cognac (my liquor store has 125ml of Hardy VSOP for $8.99) after cooking the steak add a bit of cognac (half the bottle?) and scrape the black bits up with a wooden spoon. After a bit add chopped shallots and pepper to taste. Wait till they are translucent and add 250ml aforementioned red wine and reduce by half. If you want it a bit thicker add a spoonful of cornstarch to a shot of water, mix and add the slurry cooking for at least another ten minutes.
