With the way the climate is changing potable supply water could be an issue. But the only countries where there would be massive water famine would be the poorest. I think what will actually happen is that meat prices will go up considerably while the real quality goes down. But all food prices have already gone up quite a bit in the last decade. I'm not a vegetarian, but I probably only eat meat one or twice a month and do try to eat organic when ever I can. Raw foods are great for you, and you should try to limit your sodium, drinking lots of water also helps you stay healthy. Meat isn't terrible to eat, but processed meat (99% of meat) isn't good for you, but you aren't going to die if you have a whopper tomorrow. What I actually think is going to happen is that people are going to see vegetarian diets as a cheaper alternative and go with that because of the economics, then they are going to claim that they have some sort of moral superiority over those who still eat meat, like prius vs truck drivers.
