But if you're willing, you might enjoy it. I notice a lot of people who try to eat it for the first time tend to break it down and purposely find the fetus and get squeemish. Trick is to just bite into like a regular hard boiled egg lol.
As for seasoning it ends up with a broth inside after cooking. Think of really rich chicken soup. Just add salt to taste.

I don't think there are any feathers but the rest of that stuff exists but it hasn't fully formed yet so it still has the texture of cooked egg yolk and you chew right through it without even any crunch though it has flavour that is closer to cooked chicken.
