10 year old MRE in AFG. The M&Ms were so old the coating disintegrated and the chocolate was ashy. The oils from the cheese separated and was clumpy with an oatmeal kinda texture. Still ate it all, had no choice.

These old candies from tins from either the 60s or earlier. They were military candy rations or something like that. White-ish yellow candies similar to lemon drops. My grandpa would get them from containers they'd open at the military place where he worked. This was in the 90s.

The problem was that I think they are hard to find or don't exist anymore. And I would absolutely love to have some again, but I can't find them. The closest thing I can find is a "fallout shelter carbohydrate supplement" (pic attached) but even that isn't quite right. And I definitely can't find anyone selling them.
