I find that the cheapest ones generally taste better than the more expensive brands. For instant coffee you definitely want a stronger roast, though, anything that's labeled "mild" or "gold" tastes like nothing with crap and will only mess up your digestion.

This one is pretty good if you like dark roasts with milk added, although I have to add more than the recommended amount for it to taste good. If you find instant coffee too weak but don't want too much caffeine, someone here said you can just add one scoop of the regular and then add decaf until it has more flavor.
