hard but not impossible. Confidence comes from inside, and it takes a very strong minded person to be obese and still love themselves, and even more so still get women. It's easy to pick at them but if you think about it, those who are confident have very strong minds.

I need to lose 15 lbs in two months, I'm supposed to go to boot camp and I need to be in the weight standards.

Just eat less.

Don't have multiple lunches/dinners. Eat three squares and only healthy snacks like fruits or nuts.

I've been dropping pounds just by cutting out my occasional 4th or 5th meal in a day and not going back for seconds/thirds when I do eat.

>> No.11402999

>>11402953
It's difficult for most people to drop more than four pounds of fat in a month while remaining functional, but you can likely lose ten pounds of water in a day. You'll need a daily deficit of nearly 900 calories, so what I'd do is count calories and distract myself with braindead vidya such as multiplayer shooters. It's made me lose weight in the past without counting.

1. stop eating fat
2. stop snacking
3. eat only twice a day
4. eat natural starches - healthy bread, beans, potatoes, etc. without added fat. use spices and even aspartame to make them taste good.
5. cook your own food. weigh everything out on a scale, so you know how much you are eating.

It's all math, OP.
2,000 calories is what a normal person should have in a day. The amount of calories you should eat vs. the calories you burn need to be adjusted. Everything today can be googled for ease.

Apples have 90 calories, a medium sized french fry from McDonalds is 340, etc, etc.

They say you should keep a journal of what you eat so that at the end of the day you can tally up what you have. I say fuck that and get yourself an app on your phone to do the same thing.

Every person and every body is different and every person's daily activities also vary, so there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to finding out how much you should and shouldn't subtract from your lifestyle.

There are even exercises that you can do while you're sitting on your ass reading this. (Get a small hand weight and lift it.)

If you do this, the weight will slowly start to melt off.

Get a hobby that keeps you healthy. Make exercise fun. Ever hear of that walking app called, "Zombies! Run!" ? You don't even have to run. You can walk, or walk in place and get the same gameplay experience.

You gotta look at getting healthy as something positive. Something that you can enjoy and you'll be less likely to fall off track.

I suggest going home tonight and taking a good look at your fridge. How many veggies do you have? What does your dry goods cabinet look like? Chips and cookies and shit? You know where I'm going with this.

Go grocery shopping and I encourage you to load up on veggies that you like and would actually eat. It's ok to treat yourself to something "naughty" every once in a while - but it should be just that. A treat. Special.

Walk, eat salads as stomach-filler more often, get curious about a sport or dancing or anything that gets your body up and moving. Start low and start slow. Work your way up to harder things as you see fit.

Good luck, OP!

(Adding to)

I would also encourage you to meal prep. It's a little bit of a pain in the ass, and you'll find that certain foods don't keep well, but that's all trial and error. The salad idea that I suggested is easy enough, because you just make a monster bowl of salad once a week and get some of those cheap dollar store containers and load up your fridge with them. This way, you can just grab it and throw it in your lunch bag and don't even have to think about it. The easier you make it for yourself in the future, the easier time you'll have staying on track.

Grill a bag of chicken breasts and some rice, or other carb and stack them in the fridge too. These can be your go-to meals when you're hungry and don't wanna cook. (Because we've all been there. That's where fast food becomes it's most tempting.)

The perk to meal prepping is that you know exactly what you're eating, exactly the caloric intake and exactly how much of a portion you're getting.

It's important to remember that this is not a punishment. This is you taking steps to be good to yourself and your body. This is you doing something to take steps towards a healthier and hopefully happier life. It's not something you should dread or begrudge yourself for. You don't have to eat the veggies you hate. If you don't like carrots, then fuck carrots. If you love steamed broccoli, then load up on it.

It's all about shifting your perspective about food and life and your body.

Also, try to limit or get rid of any alcohol or drugs. I love weed and wine as much as the next person, but I know that indicas make me lazy as fuck, so I go for a morning wake-n-bake with sativas and with wine being 123 calories a glass, I know that I've gotta measure that into my caloric intake range and adjust accordingly.

Like I said, it's all math. It's easy if you do the prep work in advance. You can do this, OP! Can't wait to hear you come back and give us your update on your progress!

Stop eating. Just water and buillion. You'll lose approx 0.7 lbs per day long term average, though the first few days you will lose more due to temporary glycogen loss. The 5 lbs you lost already are just glycogen btw, you'll gain them back as soon as you start eating normally. Losing fat is slower, because fat has many more calories/lb. If you water fast, you will lose about 40 lbs of fat in those 2 months.
