Over the last few months I've grown kinda addicted to this stuff. Easy to make, can be put on a wide variety of foods, and mild enough in dkavoe that you can add a lot to it. I've added green chili, curry powder, a wide assortment of vegetables, soy sauce, hot sauce, I've tried using chocolate milk instead of cream (bad idea), I've added cheeses, I've added egg...
What's your guys' opinion on Jägersoße?

Its Jägersoße, a savory sauce that goes really well with schnitzel or Spätzel

Its basically just some beef broth, a bunch of mushrooms, some cream, a pinch of flour to help thicken it, all simmered together with a couple different herbs- I usually just use the generic "Italian herbs"

Probably, I've only ever heard it called Jägersoße since my girlfriend taught me how to make it, and she's from the southern part of Germany

The mushrooms are usually Portobello mushrooms or Chanterelle.
This is basically the recipe:

>Melt butter (or clarified butter/lard/grease) in pan
>Cook diced onions until golden brown
>Add diced garlic and cook for another minute
>Add sliced mushrooms
>Cook for 5-7 until liquid has evaporated and the mushrooms got color
>Add more butter and flour, cook for another 2 minutes
>Deglaze with white wine and reduce a bit
>Add (beef) broth, thyme, salt and pepper
>Let simmer for 10 minutes
>Season for taste
