If some parents forced their kids to come to my door and try pull this stunt they wouldn't get food or Candy and they'd be lucky if I didn't have them arrested for solicitation.

Why do they have to ruin halloween too? What kind of person sees children having fun and thinks to themselves that they should make them do charity work instead? sickening

Wouldnt this make more sense to do during thanksgiving or christmass? Or literally any other holiday besides fucking Halloween? Kids dont even get school off most of the time on Halloween. Fuck sake.

This is a beautiful post OP. I know that these programs work, because they are what my wife and her son had to rely on for many years. She was a single mom for at least 5 or so years until I met her at the local AIDS clinic where I volunteer and fell in love with her while I was testing her blood. I remember when she asked "Am i HIV positive" and I replied "No, but Im positive that you are the prettiest woman I've ever seen in my life."

It shouldnt matter when though. I get its stereotypical to give food out on those holidays but it would make more sense to use those days to collect food then to use Halloween. Fucking hell use Thanksgiving then youll be ready for Christmas and it even makes sense given the holiday. In commemoration of giving the natives all those warm blankets we can give the poor canned peaches.
