It probably fits a day and a half worth of macros but other than that it's fine. Exercise, how much you eat, and genetics are far more important to overall health than what food you eat. Assuming you're eating all four food groups.

guessing here, but that looks like about 3/4 of a lb of pastrami. maybe around 1.5 cups of french fries and we'll just call the salad a large one.

checking in with my fitness pal, that is a full days calories and triple the daily recommended intake of sodium for an adult male.

in short, please eat these every day, op. the sooner you drop dead, the better.

>> No.11352717

>>11352703
>falling for the sodium is bad meme
There is no correlation between sodium intake in youth with development of hypertension its just that after the condition has been developed it tends to be an easy way to reduce it same with cutting back on caffeine and increased exercise. Fear of hypertension is no reason to eschew salt in your youth.

>> No.11352736

>>11352717
one, hypertension is only one issue that excess sodium can cause. two, going at/near/slightly over the daily recommended intake is a wee bit different from tripling it.

>> No.11352760

Except it can't cause hypertension. Daily recommendations are very conservative as well. Usually assumes minimum amount of physical activity.

you're the one that brought up hypertension, anon, not i. what sodium can lead to is high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke. it can also lead to heart failure. there is also some evidence that too much salt can damage the heart, aorta, and kidneys without increasing blood pressure.

soooo grats on not having hypertension, i guess?

>>11352775

>> No.11352785

>>11352779
You are WAY off, yes, I can tell you the sandwich alone is nearly 2K, that's clearly around 2lbs of meat on it, that's also around double the fries that you think it is, and that "salad" is also mostly meat, at least another 1/2lb, where most restaurants will skimp on meat

>> No.11352788

Hypertension is the medical term for high blood pressure and those problems you listed are complications due to hypertension, which sodium consumption does not cause. You're welcome btw.

are you a really special kind of retard or just addicted to awful trolling?

>What happens to my body if I eat too much sodium?
>In most people, the kidneys have trouble keeping up with the excess sodium in the bloodstream. As sodium accumulates, the body holds onto water to dilute the sodium. This increases both the amount of fluid surrounding cells and the volume of blood in the bloodstream. Increased blood volume means more work for the heart and more pressure on blood vessels. Over time, the extra work and pressure can stiffen blood vessels, leading to high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke. It can also lead to heart failure. There is also some evidence that too much salt can damage the heart, aorta, and kidneys without increasing blood pressure, and that it may be bad for bones, too.

>High blood pressure is a leading cause of cardiovascular disease. It accounts for two-thirds of all strokes and half of heart disease.

Healthy is basically a meme conglomeration of disjoint unrelated and vaguely defined attributes. There is at least likely sufficient fat and protein to come close to your daily requirements. It probably lacks in non fat soluble micronutrients given that it's likely to be a very large perecentage of your total TDEE.

Stop being a stupid nigger housewife and understand the very basic principles of nutrition so that you can evaluate things properly instead of shallowly examining things on the surface and putting them into autistic lists. What you're doimg is akin to sorting your books by colour.

It might not cause long term issues if you eat too much salt, but I've accidentally put too much salt in my food and tried to eat it anyway so it didn't go to waste and the salt made me feel shitty. Just drinking water didn't help. Salt isn't bad, but too much salt is, and most processed/restaurant food has a lot of salt.

That's basically what I do. I have a small breakfast, and pretty much eat whatever I want for dinner, but that includes a lot of healthy food like beans/whole wheat bread and pasta/vegetables. I eat cheese, butter, eggs, other high calorie foods. No snacks or high calorie drinks, and only rarely dessert, but it maintains a normal bodyweight pretty easily.
