I've had success at the self-checkout lines. Usually whoever's keeping watch is busy fucking around on the main computer or helping someone else out, so you can just pretend to scan stuff and put it in your basket. Works best at Wal-Mart since they don't have actual scales in their bag carousel.
Kroger also has this section where you get a bag of beans or pretzels or something and weigh it, then you get a barcode sticker printed for it. There's no cameras there, so if I was getting something from the bakery I'd go over there and print a sticker for a pound of beans to make it cheaper.

Not that guy, but my family used to donate to the local food bank where I grew up, and you had to go through city officials to be able to get food from the food bank. When we would be there, most of the people I would see taking food were visibly overweight and clearly not in dire need of food--plenty of vegetables in plain sight, lines formed for the breads/chips/junk. Food banks are a joke and a sham, and I refuse to donate to one ever again in my life.

I don't condone it, but here is what I saw a guy do one day while I was on my way in to the store one time.

He had grabbed a basket and loaded it up to the absolute brim with food, then walked out through the entrance doors away from the cash registers to "get a cart" giving him plausible deniability if he were stopped. This is where I saw him. After he put his basket in his cart and made sure the coast was clear, he just turned and walked out the door to his car.

I only realized what had happened after watching him leave.

When ever I'm too poor to buy food I go to my grandmas house and she gives me a nice meal.

1.) Don't play with the self checkout shit, they watch those like a hawk these days.
2.) Try to keep the stealing part in the back of your mind, don't think just do
3.) Sadly because the self checkout is out, you can only grab what you can fit on your person. Have a jacket with big inner pockets.
4.) Steal stuff from one section, don't move around the store doing it a bunch.
5.) Don't look at the cameras or look for people watching, just fucking do it.
6.) Walshart and Kroger have a no follow, no chase policy. These are good stores to pilfer stuff. They can confront you, but you can just walk past them like you didn't hear.
