i've never seen my dad drink just water and i've asked him about it and he says he hates water. he only drinks coffee and dr. pepper but he's 61 and in pretty good shape biking everywhere and is more ripped than i've ever been in my life. he's also the craziest person i know though.

i'm canadian and do labour work outdoors and had run out of water one day and when i asked my boss for more he was a bit surprised and told me he had "never developed a taste for water"

I drink at least a gallon of water a day, not counting seltzer or water with those little single serving packs of flavoring.

What I don't understand is why Europeans don't like cold beverages. I need ice in everything I drink, or otherwise cold out of the fridge. Lukewarm drinks are terrible.

Stop lying anon, I live in Germany and people drink a lot of water. Every restaurant where you arrive they come offering water. Everyone buy cases of water to bring home. The only difference here is that they like a lot sparkling water and sometimes is too gassy for me, so I prefer still or medium sparkling.
