They're the easiest way to get a warm meal in your stomach on the cheap, pretty much wherever you are. Boiling water is extremely easy.

I'm gonna be honest, every time I go on a trip, I pick up one of these as a "just in case" dinner. Nothing better than being drunk as fuck and popping this in the room's microwave when everyone else got hammed before realizing all of the food places are closed.

Maybe you make them wrong. Top Ramen is nice, thinner noodles than Maruchan, and you never boil the seasoning packet with it. It goes on top after it's done cooking, it's fried noodles you slurp up, love it.

A meal doesn't always have to be satisfying. It just has to stave away the hunger pangs and keep you going. You get way more volume out of a cup of instant noodles than you do any other canned good anyway.

Sort of, it's more of folks that just don't have time though. Pour hot water in them and leave them alone, eat when they're ready. Nothing to prep besides hot water, nothing to clean, toss when you're done.

One of the best things living in Korea is that I can enjoy super cheap instant noodles without any powdered soup mix. This way I can get creative.
