Tell me why I shouldn't have an energy drink every morning (or what a better caffeine alternative would be)

>it's sugary
This is the one sugary treat I have per day. It is 27g of sugar. The recommended sugar intake for an adult is 25-35g. You'd probably add half that amount to coffee anyway.
>coffee is cheaper
A 24-pack of 12oz Red Bull cans is $45. A pack of 0cal Monster energy is even cheaper, at $25. Meanwhile if you buy coffee on Amazon, pretty much any brand, of similar size you will pay even more. You can just buy Folgers but at that point you are paying $10 for dirt.
>it's immature
Who gives a shit?

Energy drinks are unironically healthier than any other sugary drink aside from juice. They contain more vitamins, and lots of taurine.

costs too much, used to do it

taurine has never been proven to affect humans, I like the taste as an integral component of that energy drink flavor but it's not a nutrient or anything

Caffeine tablets are far far cheaper than even the shittiest coffee.
Want vitamins too? Those are also far cheaper than energy drinks.

it's not terrible so long as you have a (mechanically) good heart/cardiovascular system

it's still probably better to go with the sugar free version though

lidl makes a pretty good knockoff version for ~20c a can
rockstar recovery comes in a nice orange/lemonade non-carbonated version too

No, but it is a nutrient that some people (namely vegetarians and vegans) are "deficient" in. While the effect is unclear, there are indications that it is integral to gall bladder health and lipids.

sure it's not harmful but it's not something you can point to prove the nutritiousness of energy drinks

Coffee is a meme. It's all the same bean prepared the same way, I dare you to find coffee that has been spray dried anymore for instance. And it comes from South America most of the time which is as ethically dubious as blood diamonds.

Not quite right. Anything you buy instore preground in mostly the same, but when you buy whole beans roasted locally, well, that's the good shit. Unfortunately also costly, but it's a treat. I buy a bag maybe once a month.

>It's sugary

It is. You're basically throwing a big sulk that because you want it, it's fine that it's sugary. But that doesn't address the fact that it is. Not drinking it would be healthier than drinking it.

Also passive aggressive shot at coffee drinkers whom you know are superior to you.

>Coffee is cheaper

Yes, it is, dumb nigger. Because you're not eating coffee out of the can, you're brewing it with water, which is practically free.

>It's immature

Most independent roasters will sell pounds for $10 of their less exotic beans, or at least that's how many are around me. Even so, the taste alone is worth it to spend more on something you're likely drinking every morning.

I buy cheap coffee. A roughly 30oz can of off brand is like $4 when it is on sale and it probably lasts me longer than your 24 cans of Red bull for literally less than 1/10 the price.
