It's almost like a variation of the gambler's fallacy when people assume a place with only one item on their "menu" must do that one item really well. As in "OK, they can't figure out how to do anything else, so they must have gotten this one thing they're offering right." In reality I find way more often than not these one item restaurants are terrible at their one item. Not having a robust menu with a variety of options just means you're lazy and looking to put in the bare minimum required to make money.

There are dogs that walk on their hind legs, cats that ride the bus, they are capable of learning. Do I think that dog is really giving the other one a hug? Their expressions certainly seem like an emotional situation is happening.
