I'm making this for supper tonight. Anyone have a better recipe or idea to really make it pop? Gonna do some angel hair pasta with it

Recipe looks good. Do the OC and you'll get a lot of (you)s with people sperging about everything from the kind of spatula you use your shrimp deveining technique to how you cooked the fucking pasta. Fun times.

Seconding this. Something about angel hair combined with shrimp just doesn't work for me.

Thawing the shrimp now. I went for extra small because that's how i grew up eating scampi, but some ppl prefer medium or large.

Ok, kids up from their nap. Gonna do a little prep and will be posting a cook along in a little while. /ck/ moves slow enough this thread shouldn't be archived but if it is I'll make a new one

This. Ideally you want larger ones for scampi (and, as mentioned above, raw ones, because precooked ones will tend to overcook and end up either mushy or rubbery).

I tossed the shrimp with baking soda, supposedly this makes them more tender and juicy rather than rubbery. Will report back, but thanks for all the good suggestions for next time. Cooking isn't about where you're at but where you're going, I guess.

Next time I will get uncooked.

Pic related, turned out very good I think. I won't marinate the shrimp narly so long next time because they are very potent and iver-garlicky. Otherwise, I enjoy the angel hair and small shrimp. Next time I'll take you guys' advice and use large shrimp and fettuccini.

Bon appetit lads

>Amoebiasis is usually transmitted by the fecal-oral route, but it can also be transmitted indirectly through contact with dirty hands or objects as well as by anal-oral contact. Infection is spread through ingestion of the cyst form of the parasite, a semi-dormant and hardy structure found in feces.

Uh... stop shoving shrimp up your ass, I guess? Or living in a third world, literal, shit hole. That pic is from a few years ago. It was tasty as fuck and I feel fine.
