I work in a four-course fine dining restaurant that costs $50+ per head plus drinks.
We serve Folger's out of a fucking coffee machine (press a button, get one cup). It comes as a concentrate solution and gets diluted with hot water. Whenever someone orders a coffee with dessert they always, ALWAYS rant and rave about how good the coffee is and ask me to tell them what kind of coffee it is. They are always very aghast and disappointed to find out it's just Folger's and they actually have bad taste in coffee.

It's not even that good, it tastes how a bag of charcoal briquettes smells.

Folgers is pretty cash, cant beat it for the price. the french roast has a good smell. imo.

ive been experimenting with the HEB Ole brand coffee and its better, albeit more expensive for the quantity you get.
