Why do most people dislike tacos?

Most people I ask about tacos say that they wouldnt order them at a restaurant. Then the people who did say they have ordered them said they wouldnt do it again.

It isn't that people don't like them, just that they're more common and simpler when compared against a lot of other dishes. It's easier/faster to get tacos from a truck or a restaurant for a quick lunch than something more difficult to make, so if I'm eating at a Mexican joint I'm more likely to try something else simply because I have it less often.

I'd say with most people it's just latent xenophobia and racism, at least with white people that is. Whites are especially threatened and intimidated by Latinos for a multitude of reasons, and this primitive fear and hatred manifests itself as a dislike of their culture, most commonly their food, language, and clothing.

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever read on /ck/ if you're serious. Tacos are ridiculously popular, they're easily in the top 10 most consumed categories of ethnic food and Mexican has its own dedicated filter on most delivery services. You might as well ask why most people dislike pizza.

Lmao seriously
he killing of University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts has prompted criticism of the U.S. immigration system because the man charged in her death is a Mexican farmworker. But the victim's father told mourners he's been embraced by the local Hispanic community.

Speaking Sunday afternoon to more than 1,000 people at a ceremony at his daughter's former high school, Rob Tibbetts didn't directly respond to comments by President Donald Trump and others who quickly seized upon the suspect's citizenship to argue for changes in immigration laws.

However, The Des Moines Register reports that Tibbetts said he encountered Hispanics at Mexican restaurants and elsewhere who were sensitive and kind during the weeks he spent in the central Iowa community of Brooklyn to help search for his daughter.

"The Hispanic community are Iowans. They have the same values as Iowans," he said. "As far as I'm concerned, they're Iowans with better food."

I rest my case. Try some therapy, sounds like you could use some help not feeling like such a victim all the time. You'll eventually learn that your ability to accomplish things for yourself goes up exponentially when you stop trading away your power and authority to others. Try a little history to see how real change is accomplished. Might I suggest MLK, Malcolm X, Gandhi, and Mandela as a good foundation? If you need a bigger list, learn about Maya Angelou, Frederick Douglas, Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai, and Harvey Milk.

Know what they had in common? They didn't waste their life boohooing about how bad they had it while doing absolutely nothing to affect real change. You should try it sometime.
