US Vegan Food Sales Explode - Exceeding $3.7 Billion In One Year

Are vegans onto something?

some vegan food tastes good but it's pretty annoying how they try to convince you that it's healthier than non-vegan food. like almond milk saying it has more calcium than milk, because they added that much calcium to it, and it ends up tasting like chalk.

Carnists are triggered and worried. They know their way of life will end eating animal flesh soon. They feel threatened. It's all a matter of time all people on the planet will be vegan. Carnism is not sustainable. We activists target children teaching them the loving ways of veganism and an all plant diet. Eventually laws will be enacted to make it illegal to kill animals for food fueled by vegan activism. New generations will come into power armed with vegan knowledge changing the landscape. The few Carnist hold outs will have no choice but go vegan or face prison and even death. You cannot fight progress and evolution. Embrace veganism. Learn it. You will discover it's wonderful, healthy, and compassionate. Carnism will soon be a thing of the past. There is nothing to fear.

Vegans fooling themselves once again. Just like with meat substitutes

Carnism is sustainable, you just need less people. Vegan diets don't scale infinitely either, there is a population upper limit. It's a choice of different compromises as to what we accept. If environmentalism was the only goal, we'd kill ourselves as that is logically the most environmental option. But we don't,we make compromises everyday when we take cars, play on our mobile pleasure boxes, or use cosmetic products. Human life is inherently anti-nature, and carnism is just a different degree of that.

Nice masturbatory fantasy though.

>> No.11218800

sometimes i feel like theres probably an argument to be made that sustainable living practices and social progress are just tools for the elite to better control the masses.

dont eat that meat guy well never be able to feed all the worker drones on that diet.

now now play nice and integrate with each other in a generation or two youll all be living cheek to cheek in high density urban environments.

in short make yourself as inoffensive and easy to manage as possible. but im dumb so maybe not

Yes it does. If the environment can support 100 energy units, thats 20 vegans at 5 energy units per person or 10 omnivores at 10 energy units per person.

>>11218696
Genocide of humans or animals? The world population is not sustainble environmentally at first world rates, we'd need several earths for that. Something is going to have to cull the herd.

Animals aren't human, stop anthropomorphizing them with feelings they don't have.
