I had a room mate who ran on peperoni hot pockets, cup of noodles, and coffee. He would microwave his food and run back to his room. He never hung out in the living room. He ate absolutely nothing else and sid his goal is to eat for less than two dollars per meal.

Because what you were avoiding in the living room was your parents. When you move out the living room is also your room. Plus his desk was in the 2nd living room so he was eating in bed or on the floor. He only had a shitty laptop so he wasn't doing anything with his 40 inch tv that he couldn't be watching on my 65 inch tv.

People can freely walk around them, I prefer my room with door shut. I get extremely annoyed by sounds of people moving in close proximity to me

I spent my whole life sharing a room with someone and I sure as hell enjoy having my own space. If only I could afford $1500 a month for a single bedroom apartment.

I have my own desk, pc, and all the shit I need in my room. I cook my meals in the kitchen and eat in my room. The only time I spend in the dining an living room is when I have guests over or the rare times I'm playing games with my roommates.
