How is mexican cheese so criminally overlooked?
Never had any cheese better than this.

>> No.11181824

Making your own is infinitely cheaper. Just add velveeta, milk, and salsa into a crockpot and you'll get easily 3 times the amount for about the same price.

Just because someone likes mexican cheese, it's not a reason to assume that they are poor.

>> No.11181851

I'm just saying you can make your own mexican cheese and spend the savings on other things like tendies or nuggies.

>> No.11181853

>>11181824
I've literally never had queso made with velveeta that wasn't horribly inferior to premade stuff

I'd like to dip those nuggers in mexicheese, 2bh.

>> No.11181865

>>11181853
The problem is both the company that creates velveeta and most people who make cheese dip are fucking brainlets. They think you can just dump the cheese in, melt it, add diced tomatoes, wala. Adding the proper amount of milk is the difference between edible and inedible.

mexicans don't drink milk, I'm afraid

That's a great way to describe people who make and buy processed cheese, I agree 100%.

Is it true Mexicans named a cheese after a tiny yippy dog?

>> No.11182043

>>11181824
if you do this with cheddar, cream, and a tiny bit of flour the results are 10x better

then add whatever else you want in the mix, hot peppers whatever

Yeah, I am much more interested to learn how to make cheese dip with actual cheese rather than cheese flavored oil. I should really use google once in awhile.

>> No.11182063

Pretty sure that's American cheese, senpai.

>>11181933
They named the cheese and a state in Mexico after the dog because of its popularity in the 90's Taco Bell commercials.

Mexico has states?
why isn't it called the USM?

>> No.11182085

Actual cheese dip?
It has only one ingredient: A soft melty cheese. You don't need to fuck around with additives, stabilizers, etc, just get a cheese that melts well and heat it up. Camembert, Brie, Fontina, Gruyere, Zimbro, etc.... Perhaps add a splash of milk if you want to thin it out.

very different tastes desu
definitely good but not completely interchangeable with any cheese dip
