Even as a New Yorker I'll agree that Michigan Coneys are delicious, in the same early 20th Century way the square pie at L&B Spumoni Gardens is. Definitely lowbrow, unhealthy and out of fashion, but still fucking delicious. When I'm driving through Michigan I often stop for a couple.

Torn. I still love the natural casing dogs with sauerkraut and mustard I grew up with. But I like the Chicago excess too, except for the stupid neon green relish. Also been to Denmark, and LOVE the dogs there. And have recently developed a weakness for Latino dogs, including the Mexican hot dog torta. So I can't shit on hot dogs in general.
