I love peaches. I used to eat anything I wanted as a kid but sometime between then and now I turned gay and can only eat certain fruits without them irritating the shit out of my throat. It gets itchy and sometimes my lips will be sore too. Nothing life threatening but usually not worth it. Cherries peaches plums and apples are now only occasional treats.

I like guavas, but they are hit and miss depemding on the trees. Most guavas trees planted are from seeds which leads to inconsistent quality. Ive had some that have a sweet tropical musky guava taste that is superb, then ive had others that taste like toothpaste mixed with overly musky guava. Another thing is that the soft ones go overripe quickly so tons of the fruit go to waste if not picked and given away. Keeping guavas in the house leads to a musky guava smell that people associate with cat piss.
