It will work fine for a while, the body is very good at reusing nutrients stored in fat and providing you source your meat well it is very nutrient dense. You need to make sure you eat offal and make stock with bones etc to get the most out of the diet. But at the end of the day, vegetables are good for you and are usually easier to digest, sometimes the brain just wants some quick energy from some starch and carbs. If you only eat meat you will likely need to adjust your lifestyle to allow for longer rest and digestion.

There's literally no reason to only eat meat unless you have a disorder like Jorden Petersons daughter.

Didn't she say she drinks bourbon though? I'd like to hear the reasoning for saying that carbs are bad but fermented carbs are fine.

I don't see any reason to. Amylase in our saliva to start digesting starchy food points to us not being carnivores. I don't think that means we're herbivores though.

I'll eat meat once or twice a week, but more than that and I get sick of it. Most other meals have dairy of some kind, with whole grains, and lots of vegetables. Maybe if someone doesn't like dairy then they should be eating a bit more meat as a protein source, but any extreme diet (veganism, meat only, fruit only, etc.) is usually going to be missing something by including other fruit groups. Also, people just need to find what diet works best for them, people from different areas will have different dietary needs depending on what they evolved to eat, and even men and women will have different dietary needs.

The purpose of amylase in saliva is controversial in the scientific literature. It has virtually no effect on the digestion of starch relative to the amounts of amylase further down the digestive tract, so there is some other mechanism at work

that doesn't really mean we're not supposed to eat starch, it just starts breaking down the sugars a bit. if you chew starchy food for a while it starts to taste sweet because of the amylase breaking down the sugars.

Your study is saying that SHBG binds to testosterone so the body can't use it, and that vegans have more SHBG, so their bodies have to produce more testosterone just to maintain levels similar to what omnivores have. All keto diets are zero/low carb, but not all zero/low carb diets are keto.

Even if you were on carnivore diet, eating too much meat, especially lean meats such as chicken, can kick you out of ketosis.

Ketogenic diet, who follow it for reason like epilepsy prevention, have keep their macros extremely strict. 80% of the calories MUST come from fat. the rest 10-20% from protein and trace carbs.

Even if you would eat zero carbs, you can kick yourself out of ketosis by eating too much protein.

There's really no "abundance" of evidence. Meat being unhealthy is pretty much debunked at this point. There are links between a varied diet and lifespan but that can be explained by the fact that they live generally healthy lifestyles

We can't really assume anything about a carnivore diet

>There's literally no reason to only eat meat unless you have a disorder like Jorden Petersons daughter.

It's not like she had double blind food allergy tests, she just tried something and she thinks it works. Could just have been some deficiencies or food allergies which could have been fixed with minimal changes. Or psychosomatic.

I hope she takes some supplements though. Meat isn't that complete, especially without organ meats and marrow. Otherwise she's going to run into a wall when reserves run out.
