same bread, different bologna here, op. I like ketchup, love marinara, but I can't stand just like a raw slice of tomato. Not in salads, sandwiches, or anything else your vile mind can think of.

same with me but I like it in other foods or am at least indefferent, such as I like it in salsa, tolerate in hamburgers/sandwiches, dont like plain tomatoes on their own.

I even like tomato soup, and stuff, but not raw tomatos. not in burgers, kebabs, salads, nothing.
I'm 29, and never ate a raw tomato in my life.

what's the point of holding a salt shaker when eating a tomato?
is it some old superstition?

I hate raw tomatoes for decades. Just recently started buying kumato tomatoes then slicing and salting them. Now I eat them all the time.

It balances the weight out
You don't have to use a salt shaker, it can be anything that weighs similarly

had me until there. Harvest, throw it in the refrigerator for an hour or two, THEN eat. Perfection.
