Give it to us straight anon

Do you wash your hands enough at work?

>> No.11076936

I don't have a job, but I do shower atleast twice a day and am super sensitive to anything unhygenic, so I think I would if I did work.

I work at a drug rehab, I wash my hands constantly.

I hate handshakes and doorknobs so fucking much.

>> No.11076980

I always wash after bathroom and after eating. I sometimes forget going into work but I shower in the morning anyway and I do wear gloves 100% of the time. So my hands are about as clean as it can get casually speaking.

I'm a trained Hitman, I keep my hands very clean.

Yeah, mostly because I work with sick people and lots of open wounds.

Everyone at the bar I wash dishes at fucks with Trump supporters food.
Don't wear a trump hat... people who hate him are gross

Wouldn't it just be easier not to eat out? Trump supporters today. White people tomorrow. Natural born Americans the next day. I would hate to imagine the day after. I hope I don't live to see that day.

I work at a desk away from food and I wash constantly through the day because my hands sweat a lot, so yes, I was far more than needed.

To be frank I wash them a bit too much. Not even a germophobe I've just always done it by the book, time, water temp, method just all what I learned in culinary school. My hands were cracking and bleeding in certain places because of it (no I don't have psoriasis). Gloves becoming semi standardized was such a blessing but they're so intensely wasteful and near impossible to recycle anywhere.

I didn't use to because most soaps dry out my hands so badly and I don't like carrying soap

But my work only has automatic soap dispensers that make a loud sound everyone in the bathroom can hear.

I work in a kitchen and only wash my hands when I show up and when I leave

>> No.11079251

I do. My coworkers don't.
It seems like most Japanese men just do a quickie rinse with water instead of actually washing with soap. Pretty gross.

>arrive to work every morning
>scrub my hands thoroughly first thing before entering the kitchen no matter if I just showered or touched nothing other than a door handle etc
>see chefs arrive in the morning and not wash their hands
>touching their phones all day
>handling raw meat then wiping off on a towel and then proceed to use that same towel to wipe plates or dry poached eggs etc
>see people use the same knife for everything during service without any bucket around to wash, just that same towel to wipe it off
I understand that it can be time consuming to go scrub your hands constantly but that's why plastic gloves exist and it triggers me to see how filthy cunts are at work

personally at home I don't give a single shit, I'll drop a steak on the floor accidentally and not care or re-use the same knife after rinse under cold water etc, only wipe my hands after raw meat with a rag and leave food out on stove overnight etc but at work I think it's important to have the people in mind who will be eating the food, I always do my best to keep my hands and area clean and no contamination

gloves are less hygenic than proper hand washing.
