a delivery of an instant pot within the next 3-5 days, possibly leading to enjoyment because of its benefits, maybe disappointment if it turns out to not be as good as you think it is. maybe you'll start to see more benefits of technology and change the way you previously thought about it since so many people think technology is inherently a bad thing. maybe you'll come up with an idea of how to use technology to solve a problem affecting humanity. the time you save by using it as a pressure cooker could let you focus on some more important things, and some less important things too because we all need to have a little fun once in a while.

Wash the ring after every use and don't store the lid locked to the cooker. But even if it takes on odor it won't make much of a difference in your food unless you make dessert or yogurt or whatever. That's why it's advised that you keep separate rings for fragrant foods/light foods/desserts.

Figure I'll ask here since it's not worth it's own thread. I'm going to make some soups with the Instant Pot and is there really a big difference between buying stock/broth and using bouillon cubes? The price difference is pretty high so if I can just use cubes I want to go that way.

>> No.11042330

>>11042318
Yes, there is an enormous difference. Bouillon is really just salt. Stock can be very flavorful. Try making your own. It's not difficult and it will cut the cost to almost nothing as you use scraps to make most stocks.

>> No.11042334

>>11042318
There is not much difference between storebought broth and cubes. Both suck.

There is a fucking huge difference between those and homemade stock. You should make that instead. Use your instapot for it, it makes it super easy.

Yeah, it's a retarded meme. There's like one or two tiny regions in Texas where people think putting beans in chili isn't the normal way. I think the people who start the chili/beans threads are just euros and 'strayans larping about something they know nothing about. Same with tipping threads.
