The Sizzler from the Shopping Bag in Burlington VT. Nothing flashy, fresh hamburger, Montreal steak seasoning, pickles, tomatoes, cheese and onions. Cheap and hits the spot. They make other specialty burgers as well some of which are great and some of which are just ok

Holy Chuck in Toronto. They’re expensive, but they have crazy burgers. Grind their own meat fresh in-house, they have all-bacon patties, you can get caramelized onions, great stuff. Amazing shakes and desserts, too.

Heff's. Once they came in, that argument was settled. They brought in so much money that they started opening up more locations around town, and then in other towns not that far off like Sweetwater, and now they're set up in the DFW area and Lubbock. Never thought they'd make it this big.

In NYC I like Jackson Hole on east 64th the best. It used to be on the way home from work so I'd call ahead and have it ready, the main thing to remember was to have the bun wrapped separately from the burger and toppings so the bun didn't get soggy.

Burger Box in the DFW area. They use Blue Bell ice cream in their shakes. I like to buy food from there and eat it.

There was a mexican restaurant in my town run by real mexicans that had a burger on their menu for some reason. People pretty much only went there for the burger so after a few years they completely ditched their mexican food theme

Why can't every burger be as good as a fuddruckers burger? I'm upset purely because there are so few of them and you gotta drive far to get one. Even the most expensive, supposedly """BEST IN THE WOOORLD""" hipster places have patties that are dry as fuck. I suppose it's because that's healthier. But then you go to a place that doesn't try to be healthy, and that's won some awards for their burgers, and it's still only just middling. I'm exhausted trying to find something that competes with fuddruckers. Just wish they had more locations.

My own. Chuck beef, fresh ground, carefully handled into some close-enough patty, peppered, frozen, then coated in barbecue sauce and pan fried in tallow. It's pretty much raw. (It's okay served well, too.) I probably have worms. I serve it on a dry bun since it's so greasy it gives me a two heart attacks at once and multiple arteries clog, too. Potato buns or stale bread works. Squishy breads turn to liquid. I also put cheap american white cheddar and some ketchup. The burger tastes great!

I haven't tried steaming a burger like Connecticut does, it's supposed to make it well done and fat free. Probably tastes like school cafeteria quality food, but it might be healthier.

In Akron the best burger in town is Woody's bar with blue cheese and a pretzil bun, and it comes with free handmade chips, for 6 dollars. Add some wings for 5.99 and you got Uber eats that comes in 10 mins for 14 dollars after all the fees and lack of tip
