I went on a trip to Mexico City last year, and remember drinking a cafe con leche, that had like chocolate in it, and maybe spices like cinnamon? They served it with a basket of amazing sweet breads.

I'm not sure what it's called but I can't stop thinking about it. I drank it at a hotel right near the big Cathedral in Centro Historico.

100% sure it had coffee, when I looked up Champurrado , it appears to be like a mocha.

Maybe it was just a creation of theirs and not an actual thing.

Was it a coffee, or more like a hot chocolate? If it was a coffee, it might have just been a cafe de olla, which is brewed with a few sticks cinnamon and brown sugar.
