Houstonfag here. I really wouldn't worry that we don't have an In-n-out yet. Houston is one of the best food cities in the nation right now. If you want a good burger, off the op of my head try any of these:

Bernies Burger Bus (they have brick and mortar locations too)
Hubcap Grill
Stanton City Bites
Burger Joint
Lankford Grocery

and if you really feel like you need a burger establishment from a liberal place we have Hop Doddy from Austin now too.
