What is the best cooktop for home use?

Also post pics of your stoves.

The one you just posted.

I wish I didn't rent so I could rip out my shitty kitchen and put in a decent stovetop and a garbage disposal. And also paint the walls.
But at least I have gas stove and not electric.

I want one like pick related. But in an island instead of attached to an oven.
I am stuck with a electric right now though. It sucks.
I have a 17 inch cast iron that is impossible to use on the thing.

How do you feel about antique stoves?

>> No.10995452

relevant to my interests
i just bought a house and it came with an electric stove. it's new and i don't want to use it at all so i can get maximum jewbux for it

reading hella reviews and Viking seems to be kinda problematic and i think i just don't want one

Wolf, Miele and Bluestar are the current contenders

a 30" would fit in the space i have, but some minor demo would easily make space for a 36"
i'd like to buy a hood too

i know some of you co/ck/s are grownups with real homes, so any input would be appreciated

imo they look like shit I'd rather have one of these, though the griddle is a bit of a bitch to clean

Do you have to light a real fire to use those ovens and cook top?

The microwave is triggering my autism slightly.

ITT people wanking over some caveman technology with open flame that broils you alive in your kitchen on a hot day. Induction is king.
