I genuinely look down upon anyone who thinks ketchup pairs well with fries. The overt sweetness of ketchup ruins it and doesn't even remotely compliment a fry.

I wouldn't call mayo the perfect fry condiment as there are plenty of ways to improve upon mayo, but it's infinitely better than fucking ketchup. The amount of food that pairs well with ketchup can be counted on one hand missing a few fingers
